Cari Jackson
Cari Jackson, J.D. Ph.D., helps leaders to strengthen organizational impact. For more than 30 years, she has been an executive director/CEO in business, community service organizations, and churches using her ability to develop human, operational, and financial resources to exceed project and organizational goals.
As a staff person in business and community service organizations, including Prudential, United Way, and AARP, Dr. Cari specialized in human resources administration, staff development, and organization development. Her expertise as a leadership coach evolved as managers recognized her natural coaching skills and sought her out for leadership support well beyond the scope of her job level. Because of her ability to see both big-picture issues and less-obvious details, she was tasked to coordinate all human resources facets of a national reorganization, including recruitment, hiring, relocation, retraining, and outplacement.
Building on this work, Dr. Cari formed Excellent Way to provide organizational development and coaching services, especially in strategic visioning, decision-making, team-building, change and transition, conflict management, cross-cultural competency, and interpersonal communications. She works with leaders across sectors, integrating diverse methods to maximize impact for positive change. Her trademark focus is “leadership from the inside out,” helping effective leaders to become exceptional leaders by identifying and transforming any narratives they have about themselves or others that impede their excellence.
Dr. Cari is the founding director of Center of Spiritual Light, a community service organization which serves individuals seeking spiritually-based empowerment and transformation resources. She is also the founding president of Creatives Unlimited, a multimedia company. Learn more about Dr. Cari at http://drcarijackson.com/.
