We believe gifted leaders are born, effective leaders are trained, and great leaders are developed through a process of self-revelation. What distinguishes great leaders from others is their courage to acknowledge beliefs and behavior patterns that limit them and the humility to seek the supports they need to embrace their greatness. Courage and humility are ignited when passion to help heal and transform the world becomes greater than the desire common to many leaders to appear flawless.
We believe all change agents, no matter how charismatic and visionary, have inner personal struggles in certain areas of their lives that impede them from achieving their greatest vision. As these struggles are acknowledged and transformed, they become resources for greatness. We believe charismatic leadership inspires people to listen and feel charged up. Impactful leadership – empowered by holistic self-reflection – builds upon inspiration and fosters individual and collective action that brings about meaningful social change. We believe meaningful social change is more achievable as leaders are strengthened in their own clarity, competence, courage, and compassion. We believe that all leaders – no matter their context – share in a social responsibility to help improve the quality of people’s lives across communities and generations. Therefore, our work is guided by several core values that enable us to support the distinctive needs of leaders across sectors:

“Dr. Cari is deeply spiritual… But her spiritual space is not ethereal or otherworldly. It is grounded firmly in the world but not confined by the world. Her spirituality and spiritual practices consist of a) clear-eyed critical analysis of the situation at hand, b) deep love and care for all people and c) strategic work.”
